In early 2025, Sinotruk successfully exported a batch of 80 Hohan dump trucks to a country in West Africa, serving local mineral resource extraction and national infrastructure projects. With its exceptional reliability and adaptability, the Hohan dump truck quickly gained customer trust in the African market, becoming the preferred construction vehicle for both Chinese and local contractors.

Some African countries are sparsely populated and have underdeveloped road infrastructure. Transportation often relies on traversing rugged mountain roads and soft soil surfaces. Furthermore, the hot climate and limited maintenance requirements place higher demands on construction vehicles for stability, loading capacity, and ease of maintenance.

To address these operating conditions, Sinotruk offers a customized adaptation solution for these export vehicles:

A reinforced frame and double-layer steel cargo box ensure stability when transporting heavy-loaded rock;

A highly maneuverable chassis design adapts to complex terrain such as mud, gravel, and potholes;

A high-horsepower engine paired with a low-speed, high-torque transmission meets the high-load climbing demands of mining areas;

A simple, easy-to-maintain electrical system and modular design reduce maintenance requirements and adapt to local operating conditions.

Customer feedback indicates that within six months of operation at the African mining site, the Haohan dump trucks experienced a breakdown rate of less than 3%, maintained an attendance rate above 95%, and saw an average daily transport volume per vehicle increase by approximately 18%. The local project manager stated, "The Haohan trucks are not only sturdy, fuel-efficient, and fast, but their after-sales team is also very professional, a crucial factor in the success of our project."

In addition, to enhance service support, Sinotruk has established a permanent after-sales service station in the region and trained local maintenance personnel, implementing its overseas operations strategy of "reaching out and maintaining stability."

The successful implementation of this project further demonstrates the adaptability and competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing in the African market and lays a solid foundation for the long-term expansion of the Haohan brand in the African market.
